Mossel Bay Monday: Yellowoods

Our Bible Study Group went for the Sunday Buffet Lunch in November 2012 at the Yellowoods Restaurant.

Yellowoods is near Great Brak on the road between Mossel bay and George.  The road from Greart Brak was not very good and it is a bit difficult to find.  Luckily we were following some other members of our group that knew where to go.  (I would suggest that you print the map on the website before your visit)

You need to make a reservation for the buffet and our table was ready when we arrived.    We had lovely freshly baked bread and salad as a starter.  This was followed with a great main course with chicken, roast beef, vegetables and delicious roast potatoes.  Lastly was a very sweet desert.

There was a cold wind blowing and we sat inside.  After lunch we walked outside to look around.  The restaurant is next to a river and it is beautiful.  Next time we go I will hope for a warm day that we can get a table outside.
Yellowoods can also be rented for a wedding of function venue and there are lots of activities like game drives and hiking trails.
