London Eye (28 June 2008)

After spending our morning in Westminster Abbey we walked to the London Eye. We arrived at about 12:30 and had to wait for a while in a line to buy our tickets.  Then we walked to stand in a new line to wait for our turn.
We boarded for our flight at about 13:00.  The capsules do not stop moving for us to climb in but is slow enough for us to walk into them while they are turning.  The capsules are quite big and not very full of people.  We could walk around inside to see views from all the sides.

The flight took about 30 minutes and the view of London was fantastic.  It was a beautiful sunny day. (Great for the view but it made taking photos difficult)  Too soon we were back on the ground.
